Should good cops be upset over police reform?

I have an acquaintance (not friend) who rails on about police reform hurting all the good cops for a few bad ones. He is pretty sketchy IMO as far as pushing the envelope. NarcissistIc, brags about his tough-guy arrests, etc.
Shouldn’t a good cop welcome reform that takes out the bad apples? Or is this excessive force reform putting all cops in danger?

I think the real question is, if a good cop knows about bad or corrupt cops in the force and doesn't bring them up/report them, does that not make them a bad cop?

This BS about eliminating qualified immunity should upset all law enforcement. If that goes through, lots of people are going to be looking for new lines of work.

What actually is the reform? It depends on what that entails. There is still gonna be people killed by cops, the numbers aren’t gonna change much at all as far as all that

Depends what the reform is. Right now "reform" is just code for pull funding from, which isn't going to get a lot of support from police departments who find themselves facing regular budget issues already.
Remember in elementary school when one little a-hole kept talking in class and the teacher made EVERYONE stay inside for recess instead of punishing just that kid? That's how I would personally feel if I were a cop right now.

I would be upset. Because dealing with “unarmed community responders” getting shot for showing up places they have no business being is just going to make an already traumatic job even worse.

I predict this movement will make police work an even less desirable profession, the rank and file will be further reduced in terms of collective intelligence, and their public relations will get even worse.

No it doesn't, but it gives the appearance that it does.
I'm sure if the unions would create an environment where "good" cops could report on malicious and in some cases criminal behavior of "bad" cops without the threat of retaliation and retribution then this would indeed happen.
People like to say cops protect their own but in reality for the most part they protect themselves much more than they protect their own. It's easy to say do whats right even if it means your career is on the line, and it's mostly said by people who's careers are not on the line.

Police reform (only answer is better pay and better training), would be great but not in the way being proposed.
If I was a cop, I would not welcome the "reform" ....
it will only weaken police standing.
