Should fat people’s clothes cost more?

It takes more material. Economics should dictate that higher amount of materials per size = higher average cost for the same shirt, pant, jacket, right?

Usually when it gets to a material amount (XXL or above) they tend to start costing more.

I have often wondered what a Vietnamese child laborer thinks when they make a 5XL pair of jeans. I’m shocked some standup comedian hasn’t done a bit on it.

Big and tall cost more. I order a tall size in some items of clothing and they are a little more for things like t-shirts.

I have heard this bit covered. I am pretty sure it was on Bill Burr podcast and I was cracking up pretty hard. I’ll see if I can find it. He rags on fat people a lot so it would make sense if it was Burr (who is also a big LSU fan).

Friend and I used to buy clothes at same men's store. He was at least 10 sizes bigger than me. I always told him he was getting the better deal.
