You could actually say something instead of repeating the same thing. Y
And I makes no bones about the fact I'm condescending towards your obvious lack of knowledge.

Clearly you can't go back and read, because you've never responded to what elprez said earlier today. Instead you just run your mouth. Continue the condescension. Everyone is extremely impressed by your obvious knowledge of everything.

Your questions illustrate your ignorance.

Oh. And the REAL impressive trying is how blissful you are in your ignorance

We aren't talking about the OP. Learn how to read.
And you aren't fooling anyone with using big words like "articulate."

Just for the record, I'm not continuing the argument with you because this goes beyond the question of the op. This is a generational view on business. You aren't going to agree with me and I'm not going to agree with you. That's why I asked how old you were. I typically encounter people with your views from the over 40 crowd. I'm willing to bet you're closer to 50 than 40 too.
This is a debate for another thread. Once again best of luck to you.

Oh. And you think articulate is a "big word"? Lol.
No wonder there's such a wide gulf between us. You're still working on basic vocabulary.

Not all young people are clueless about those things so it's sort of insulting to them that you want to paint them all with your ignorance.

Not all young people have this problem. I have plenty of quite sharp young people.
That said, your problem IS pretty common among those your age.
More the better for your young and better educated counterparts.

By the way. I thank you guys on behalf of my daughter.
I often tell her, "you practically can't fail. You are completely surrounded by people who don't comprehend what it means to provide value to their employer. You'll stand out like a positive sore thumb in any work place you enter".
And, it was literally just a few weeks ago that she was talking to me about how her employer has pointed out just this reality about her.
So. Continue with your way of thinking. Hopefully, you can find some 23 year old to give you a great job. Good luck with that.

WTF is this supposed to even mean?? Just because you're a large company doesn't mean you have free money to give out. Unbelievable. I have 250 employees under me. If I gave them all pay for last week without any production, where does that $250,000 come from? Please explain your economics to me. Some of you have no f-ing clue about how business works...no clue
250 employees is not a "large company" in my eyes. Definitely not a 'mom & pop' either. I'm talking about if you work for some big national corporation with a CEO whose toilet costs more than your house. They should pay their employees because they can. If you can't, then you don't.
