Shocked it took that long for him to die. I liked the earlier idea of just blowing up his van. Bullet was too easy for him. Burning to death would have been better.

This is what modern law enforcement work has turned into.

Police are under constant threat, even when they are not engaged with the public.

The more we restrain our police departments, the more likely things like this will happen.

This moron was from my hometown. A few years ago he tried to be violent and was caught.

You know what would have fixed this? Body cameras. Obama said so. That and not letting police drive Tanks.

Serious though. One of the Talking Heads on Fox earlier actually blamed this on Obama. I was He said that this is a result of the White House not backing police. I think plenty of things lay at the feet of POTUS. But this whacky white cracker shooting up DPD isn't one of them.

Thank god the guy was white. If he'd have been black, it'd have been my fault and somehow the black community would demand reparations.

I don't blame Obama or anybody else. It is just a reality that crazed individuals are acting out more frequently.

Police departments need to have armored vehicles and other tactical equipment to be prepared to deal with these nut cases. Dallas PD has plenty of equipment. They are among the best agencies in the nation.

It looks like they took care of business in this situation.

Re the dude's van, from Dallas Morning News:

LINK

The company that sold it, Jenco Sales Inc., described the vehicle on Facebook: "Zombie Apocalypse Assault Vehicle and Troop Transport. This full armored zombie busting vehicle features convenient gun ports so no zombie juice touches you during a mass zombie take down. It also has benches in the back so you can take turns resting during long Zombie sieges. The tactical step boards are installed for when you only need swords and axes for drive by mow downs. The bumpers are made of reinforced steel tubing, so no dents from smashing zombie heads! It's full armor plated and has bullet proof windows just in case you run into other zombie hunting hordes who might try to take this bad boy from you. Like anything, there is a price attached to this fine piece of zombie fighting machinery."

I hope they have body cameras. It'd be entertaining to watch the video.

Best statement of the thread. I completely agree. You can blame the media and our high ranking officials who choose to divide rather than come together.
