All off-duty Dallas PD officers are being told to report to duty because the city cannot answer its own 911 calls right now. There is a major wreck on the interstate that is unable to be cleared due to lack of officers.

I'm still following twitter. There are some ignorant motherfrickers tweeting right now. It's amazing how those idiots are managing to make this about themselves / race / and other ridiculous shite.

My family and I just arrived in Dallas yesterday. Crazy to read this is going down this morning. We're located right off 635 and Dallas Tollway.

Pretty sure it's by the Dallas Convention Center. So if you should be a good distance away from it.

That's about a mile away from Dallas PD HQ, but those areas are reportedly secure. They've chased the suspect out of the city to a suburb.

I'm really surprised Dallas hasn't relinquished some of the standoff to Hutchins PD, whatever county sheriff patrols that area, and the Texas Rangers. Those guys can handle the manpower. Most of Dallas' on-duty force is apparently involved with the standoff/investigation.

They've been reporting the possibility of four suspects all night, but lately they seem to have quietly turned all of their focus onto the one guy in the Jack in the Box. So, I'm not sure it wasn't just a simple individual purchase and not necessarily a group.
