So even though you were pardoned, can you still legally own a firearm ?
At either rate, after 10 years of no felonies one can legally own a gun in Louisiana anyway automatically.

North Flannery road. Happened in the Circle K parking lot.

Only applies if the person is trying to gain entry to the vehicle. If the window is down and I punch you in the face for being a white trash moron and you shoot me, you're going to jail.
You would be dead, and it would be called an attempted car jacking, in LA and TX there would not even be an indictment, and the shooter walks.

If there are other witnesses that say I wasn't trying to jack the car, shooter doesn't walk.

2 1/2 years. Jesus.
Now maybe some of you may understand where my distrust of the local black community comes from.
And no I didn't get arse pounded although it wasn't tried a few times.

What's truly sad here is the number of people who would live in a fear based society if they had their way.
Thank you for not being one of them.

Not that I don't see where you coming from, but there is a difference between those in jail and those not in jail, and I'll just leave it at that.

so you are happy that somebody got shot and killed, in hopes that it might prevent someone else from texting during a movie?
you should have your head examined.
No, not happy. Hopeful is a more accurate description. But if people continue to only think of themselves, then it was all for naught.
Why should I not be able to enjoy a Madea movie that I paid $50 to see?
Well, as much as I've enjoyed the personal attacks, I am going to get some work done.

but there is a difference between those in jail and those not in jail, and I'll just leave it at that.

Article never said what movie?
I'm guessing it was a Tyler Perry movie. The shooter did the the victim a favor by shooting him before the movie started. I'd rather be shot than suffer throw that.

Witnesses in Monday's fatal movie theater shooting said the man who was killed hurled a bag of popcorn at the shooter, who then pulled a handgun and fired.
No punches were thrown between the men, according to a Pasco sheriff's report.
Curtis Reeves, a 71-year-old retired Tampa police officer, was in auditorium 10 at the Cobb Grove 16 theater with his wife, about to see the 1:20 p.m. show of Lone Survivor. He got into an argument with a man in the row in front of him who was texting on his phone. Reeves, according to the report, got up and left the theater to tell management. He returned and the argument picked back up.
Chad Oulson, 43, who was there with his wife Nicole, turned and threw a bag of popcorn at Reeves, the report states. Reeves pulled a .380 handgun from his pants pocket and shot Oulson in the chest.
For his part, Reeves acknowledged there was an argument over texting and said Oulson "stood up striking him in the face with an unknown object," according to the report.
