Well, since I've already said I don't carry in my vehicle I was hoping you'd get the point I was trying to make that you just can't walk up to people anymore, like a car in traffic like you used to be able to do in the past and expect to walk away with your life, like in the old days.
It was more of a ,"Hey,things ain't like they used to be" post.

quote:

I don't really want to, but since you called me out on it, I said I would but you'd probably shoot me based on your posts. Regardless, pretty sure that's not an invitation to physically fight you.
I didn't really see the post regarding what Peej did. Wasn't sure if he really wanted to actually meet someone and fight them or just calling someone out from behind a computer.

And I would have hoped you got my point that you shouldn't just shoot anyone for any little thing they do to you.

Wouldn't that make you more like him then? I mean, you're the one that said they would shoot someone while in your car even though it turns out you don't even carry a gun in your car. Completely making things up just to sound like a badass is way more Peej like than anything I've done.

Be honest. The only reason you dont carry in your truck is because you bought a POS Glock that hangs up on you

We don't know if he started the altercation or not, that is what must be proven. If someone attempts to carjack the honorable Solomon Grundy, and (you) shoot him dead, was he innocent? Different crimes, but we don't even know at this point, assault is a crime, which is entirely possible.

you're right, he got shot for being considerate of his 3 year old daughter.

Walk outside the theater. See how easy that was?

but if you openly applaud his killer,

No, I'd say I covertly applaud his actions in hopes they will deter others, not necessarily that they happened to kill the guy.

no it's because I actually did shoot someone with a pistol i carried in my vehicle a long time ago.And it was self defense and wasn't actually from my vehicle.

I know I was in the right but still don't like to carry one in my vehicle after that.

Think this would have happened at the movie Frozen?

I don't think anyone mentioned in the story would have gone to Frozen, even the kids.

A judge thought otherwise but 2 1/2 years later found out the truth and I was issued a full pardon.

we have a theater (partially) full of people but no one has come forward to say that the victim started the altercation by doing anything besides texting his child.

that's not what happened here

there can be many types of assaults. if the victim assaulted the killer to a degree that warranted the killer to shoot him, then it would be fairly obvious and i think one of the witnesses would have said something by now.

Walk outside the theater. See how easy that was?

how bout, dont fricking shoot another man for using his cellphone, even if it pisses you off.

I'd say I covertly applaud his actions in hopes they will deter others, not necessarily that they happened to kill the guy.

so you are happy that somebody got shot and killed, in hopes that it might prevent someone else from texting during a movie?

you should have your head examined.

So how did the altercation start? How far did it go before you pulled the trigger?

ETA: And approximately where did this happen if you don't mind sharing?

guy backed into me on a hwy. Both pulled into parking lot,guy backs up pinning me between my door and truck and runs over my leg.Was coming back for more when I pulled gun from under seat and fired one shot.
Lied and said he saw gun first then reacted.2 1/2 years into a 10 year sentence for attempted murder and illegal use of a firearm the guy finds God and comes clean.
End of story.

That's terrible.
Lots of people with lots issues in the world.

Best thing you can do if in an altercation is put your ego away and just walk away.

Shot dead over a fricking text message.

Holy shite. Definitely worthy of firing there.

So even though you were pardoned, can you still legally own a firearm ?
