Finally a use for those baggy pants

I worked a Lamendola's as a kid and we had people shoplift all the time.
One time, our manager confronted an old lady about shop lifting and she whipped out a butcher knife and stepped toward him. He did an old man round house kick (must have learned karate as a kid) and kicked the knife out her hand then kicked her in the stomach then had her arrested. Another time some kids stole a case of beer and he he called for me and my buddy to give chase. I tackled my guy (carrying the beer) and my buddy gave chase to the second guy. Unfortunately they had a get away driver waiting around back. The kid jumped head first in to an late 80's model blazer and they took off. My buddy was right on the kids arse and as they drove off he put his hands up to brace for impact, and both arms went through the long side glass. His arms were cut up really bad and I had to drive him to the emergency room. After that we were only allowed to call 911 if someone was shoplifting.
