New Orleans apologist sees one incident in St. Slammany and immediately comes to troll to make himself feel better that he lives in the murder capital of the US.

Kleber St was where it was when I was in high school in the 90s. Not sure if that’s still it.

Slidell is the NO East of St. Tammany. Pretty sure no one on the northshore claims that place.

Would New Orleans be considered MORE or LESS "crime ridden" than Slidell?

Apples to Oranges

You’re trying to compare a mid major US City to a white trash suburb

Wrong. Do you understand "per capita"? Do you understand why it is used?

Everything you love about St. Tammany...

We were out there Friday night. Lots of culture came out as the sun went down. Don't think we'll be going back

There is a short mention here:

NOLA.com story

A few short lines saying the shooting was on 33rd and Fillmore. No mention of the fair, which should be part of the story.

Schultz’s. At least it was when I was a kid there in the 1970’s. Little League practice across the street and then hit Schultz’s for a treat. We used to really like the fair. Covington High got a day off for the fair; the pricvate schools didn’t. They used to have those really seedy side shows and freaks shows. I remember one where a woman changed into a gorilla and busted out of its cage as the host screamed at everyone to get out while he fired a gun with blanks at the gorilla. Total mayhem.

The neighborhood around there was always the hood but not in a violent, threatening way.

Of the big three in St. Tammany Parish, Covington has the most violent crime.

you repeating this does not make it true. slidell has more crime than covington and absolutely none of the charm
