Did I say he was? dumbass

You can’t prevent 100% of crimes, especially against police officers who have to engage with criminals regularly

the difference is it doesn't happen at all in most "nice" suburbs. and i don't think captain liberto was "looking for it" when he was shot and killed.

You're taking a major outlier event and trying to use that to paint the northshore as some unsafe place. That's 08 level trolling

What is it you think you are proving with a handful of incidents spanning from Mandeville to Hammond over the course of more than a year?

You even linked the same incident twice in separate articles

most "nice" towns of 12k don't have that many shootings/shooters in such a short amount of time.

Shut the frick up I'm sure I can go dig into any "nice" area and find a few domestic disturbances over the course of a year plus.

Frisco has been becoming more diverse past several years and not all in the rich Indian doctor or other professional way.

It also gets a lot of visitors from surrounding cities and not all in the law abiding and non-criminal way.

Frisco might now have a blm issue for a taser death of a black male using false ID to buy a car and ran from police and hit head after being tased. He died 2 weeks after arrest. Not entirely clear on what happened in mean time with him, but Frisco fairly quickly asked Rangers to get involved and investigate arrest after he died late last week.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/man-who-died-after-being-tased-by-frisco-police-identified/ar-AA12yT8x

quote:

The man who died more than two weeks after he was tased and seriously injured while running from Frisco police was identified Monday as 26-year-old Genesis Hicks.

Hicks died Thursday after he was tased by police, fell and hit his head on the ground, the department announced last week.

Frisco police were called about 3:15 p.m. on Sept. 14 to a car dealership after a complaint Hicks was trying to use a fake ID to buy a vehicle. The dealership is in the 9600 block of State Highway 121 near Ohio Drive.

Hicks ran from officers, who warned him he would be tased, police said in a written statement. An officer attempted to tase him and failed. A second officer then tased him, causing him to fall, the department said.

Police handcuffed Hicks and sat him upright before calling an ambulance. He was taken to a hospital and died Thursday, police said.

Frisco has incidents with Chargers as well
quote:

On Tuesday, September 27th at approximately 4:56 a.m., Frisco Police Officers responded to 2949 Parkwood Blvd regarding a call for suspicious activity. While enroute, Officers learned that the owner of a parked vehicle had confronted multiple suspects attempting to steal the catalytic converter from his car. The victim and at least one of the suspects were armed and fired multiple rounds at each other. All suspects then fled the location in a maroon Dodge Charger.

And a fat white woman trying to steal gold chains off people. They aren’t afraid to include race of suspects when white.

quote:

These two incidents occurred in the same area at roughly the same time of day. Both incidents involve a black sedan occupied by a heavy-set white female passenger and a male driver. The suspects involved appear to specifically be targeting subjects wearing visible jewelry while walking. They use conversation to approach the targeted person and make a gesture, as if they are giving the victim something, before attempting to steal the victim’s jewelry.

The vast majority of Mandeville is unincorporated, not included in that 12K number. Not even sure the actual but it is many times that population count.

Crime is very isolated. My neighborhood karens are so hard up to be frightened by crime, they made a huge thing out of one teenage ding dong ditch incident.
But shite happens occasionally. I'll take that over acceptance of daily crime, passed out druggies, and piles of garbage everywhere like NO.
