No. The ice cave debacle was at Southpark Mall (the most high end mall). This was at Northlake mall close to Huntersville (typical suburban mall, not like it was the old Cortana as far as clientele, for the most part).

Oh, you can't even imagine. What a wonderful Christmas Eve. While an "off-duty" CMPD officer he was on-duty mall security - thank goodness.
What is crazy about the situation is that when gunman fired five or six shots, during an argument between two groups, he managed to hit no one.

That cop was a 19 year veteran not a rookie. Donkey made a fatal error trying to draw down on this man and it didn't work out like it did when he shot the 12 year old neighbors kid last year.
