Shooting in Charlotte mall. Gun owner dead, carried for protection.

Great day at the mall. Gun shots are an awesome way to ring in the holidays. Kudos to the quick and effective work of law enforcement and to store personnel for their calm and measured actions to get people to safety.

Most of the time these incidents the perp stole/illegally obtained the weapon & are not the owners.

Ah. Last report as I was stuck in traffic, one gunman with registered gun. Officer told him to drop weapon, when he didn't the officer made one shot. Crazy scene, emergency personnel responded in minutes. More off duty policeman working mall than I ever imagined.
