just browsing the internet right now and seems that there is rumor that the actual terrorist killed was one of 3-4 others that did shooting. has this been covered yet? i've been watching the ball game

A few witnesses have mentioned other shooters. No confirmation. Nothing legit that I've seen.

So you want untrained gun owners firing at moving targets in a club? Do you guys realize playing Rambo would have gotten even more killed. There is no way to prevent terrorists attacks no matter how much power you give the government.

I don't know what the argument is.. but sure.. I would prefer a good citizen armed trying to take out a bad guy who is shooting up the place.. rather than NO help whatsoever.
I think I would prefer some sort of defending of ourselves versus NONE.. This guy was clearly having a field day in there.. To shoot over 100+ people
I think heavily populated public places like this should consider having armed security.. especially late at night. I recognize it can happen any time of the day though.

Maybe it's just the louisiana in me, but I always assume there is always a firearm under the bar.

It's dark, and you've had alcohol. Can you live with killing innocent people who were the result of you shooting at this guy? He had a bomb what's to say your shooting causes it to detonate what then?

If my options are to remove the threat by shooting him in his head or stand there waiting for law enforcement to arrive until I'm shot to death, the choice is extremely easy.

It's a tough situation. Yes, a lot of gun owners are just not capable of hitting a moving target in a SHTF situation. That being said, a lot of ex-military have CC licenses, and when a terrorist/crazy/pissed off student gets control of the situation, they just start executing people. Literally just walking up to the person attempting to hide in a prone position of sorts and fatally shooting them. Is that the ideal situation?

Yep it's fueled by a religion and ideological agenda. The only way to stop that is to make it unpopular so it isn't followed any longer (good luck). But I don't think Obama is doing anything positive by purposely avoiding the calling out of Islamic terrorism.

Yup. I sure as hell do. If I were in that club that night, I would want someone returning fire. How asinine of you to say that you wouldn't!? If there is even a slight chance of stopping the threat then I want that chance on my side. Friendly fire COULD happen and may even be likely, but does that outweigh the chance of ending the threat!?
Nope, not worth it right? Let's just stand there like sheep and wait our turn.
