When you combine.. mental instability, a desensitized youth population, 24 hour news cycle, internet fame, a bleak outlook for your own abilities and easy access to weapons, you’re going to have these shootings..

They are more frequent because of the added element of technology and a lose of personal connection in modern society.. Our youth get lost in a new world that we truly don’t understand and some see this as a way out..

If there are two, I’ll be curious if it’s the perfect storm of a sociopath and a suicidal kid finding each other eg; Columbine

That's actually a fallacy. The Weimar Republic had strict gun control laws but that was before the Nazi party took over Germany. Once they did the gun control laws were relaxed for Nazi party members, the military, and ordinary German citizens. The exception were people deemed "unreliable" or "traitorous". These were mainly Communist agitators in Germany. Those agitators happened to be primarily Jews.
