Off mostly. Because I go mostly barefoot.

For those who say shoes off. How do you get the SO to participate?
And if you have a dog? Are you wiping their paws after every trip outside?
I’d like to get to a point where no shoes in the house.

Shoes off in the mud room. I have a pair of ASICS slides I wear around the house that don’t go outside. Don’t like being barefoot.

My shoes are on 99% of the time. I'd go barefoot more if we had heated floors, but not at the balla status yet.
My son prefers to be barefoot inside and out, its odd to me.

Ah! Nothing like slipping out of my Bruno Magli’s and into my Dior oblique Jacquard mules

I take my shoes off almost immediately, and so do my kids. Not because of clean freak issues, but because we generally hate shoes.

Shoes on when I walk in from work. Change out of work closed and flip flops or tennis shoes go on my feet. I like the idea of shoes left at the door as per asian cultures.

My middle daughter (no) and her husband bought their house from a Japanese professional bass fisherman. No shoes had ever been worn in the house.

This.
Who wears shoes in the house if you aren't going out?

Shoes come off when me and my family enter our home. But I don't expect visitors to do the same when they come over. If they do, great; if not, whatever.
If I'm over at someone else's home and notice they take their shoes off at the door, then I will do so as well. It's not exactly a big deal.

Went to a friends place where they requested we take our shoes off while inside.
So, when in Rome.

Off - my shoes are dirty, so I don't want any dirt around in the house

Man... take them nasty arse shoes off in my fricking house

Off. None of us wear shoes in the house. But we don’t ask our guests to take theirs off.
This. Only Heathens wear shoes in their own home. Unless you have a maid that mops your floors 3x week

Serious? Tell her no shoes in the house.

Work boots come off as soon as I'm in the door.
Comfy tennis shoes go on, they are my indoor shoes and never leave the house. Always have shoes/slippers on the feet. Don't want to be stepping on a dog toy or bone in the dark.

We wear shoes in the house. We don't have any carpet. It's a place to live, not a museum.
