The real question I have is who is dumb enough (other than that LSU chick) to believe that a handle made from a rope for practical purposes is a fricking noose? 
And then who is dumb enough to believe that person to the point that it takes an FBI investigation to prove otherwise?

The point was to make Bubba an icon of BLM.

None of the other ropes were tied in a loop. They're long and hang to the floor. This one was had been cut or frayed so someone presumably tied a loop into it so you could get the leverage needed to close the door.

None that I saw, but I believe you. The point was this was tied in a loop because the rope was short. I "noose" is going to tighten when you put pressure on it. This was just a knot to be able to get enough leverage to pull the door down.
