The driver was having a seizure and the deputy pulls a stuntman move. Pretty cool.

I imagined the video being of him jumping off a overpass onto an 18wheeler going 70mph.

But this is pretty cool too.

Title should be "Sheriff deputy takes a few steps and climbs onto slowly moving truck"

We're talking about cops that shoot people who reach for their wallet because they feel threatened, and you expect them to jump off a bridge onto a moving vehicle?

Did you read the article?

The driver was in diabetic shock.

Not only did the Sheriff risk his life, he saved the driver's and multiple would-be casualties if the driver completely lost consciousness!

risk his life? Hell, I've run hell of a lot faster to jump into a friends car rolling down the hill and hit the break. Did I risk life and limb? I didn't think so at the time. Didn't even think about it.

I bet lots of people do a heck of a lot more every day and it doesn't get posted to youtube.

Just interesting. The real question is why did it take so long for someone to jump onto a slowly moving truck like that? I mean seriously? How long did they follow a truck moving like five miles and hour?

Seriously? I am pro cop, but I have seen cops do much more dangerous stuff than this. This was nothing.

I don't know how it happened but there was a car doing doughnuts in a parking lots with no driver in the car. Cop ran in the middle of this circle, broke a window, and jumped in the car and stopped it.

That was something worthwhile showing.

This? Seriously? I actually like cops. I just think this is not that big of a deal. Lots of cops and people do braver things every day and they don't think it is that big of a deal.

One time when I was young and dumb, I jumped on a moving train near the the Belle of Baton Rouge. What I didn't realize was that the train was accelerating as it headed away from downtown. After about a 100 yards, I figured out I was in trouble and it was getting worse by the second. I finally jumped off and busted my arse. I never did that stupid shite again.
