I just said it a few posts ago, there is no such thing as demonic possession. It has never exonerated anyone from any actions/or crimes they have committed. Just scroll up a couple posts

Then explain the modern day Democratic Party.

You're saying people can be that evil without demon influence?

Shawn Ryan is so lane and boring. Sits there like he’s so intellectual and introspective but then when he tries to ask a question, he can barely form a sentence. He ends up saying shite like “oh wow. And then what?” He sucks.

check out the wiki of the priest, really explains a lot

Chad Ripperger

quote:

(Possession) is exceedingly rare, but it does exist. And when it does exist, you witness things that are outside of human capacity. Possessed people will speak languages they have never learned. You may see levitation, which is rare. The possessed may change shape or have cult knowledge that is beyond our capacity. We are not talking about something that is purely natural. However, when you start talking about certain types of diabolical influences, you have to reassure the faithful that it is rare.

quote:

In 2019, Ripperger advised Catholics to avoid the Harry Potter series, claiming that author J.K. Rowling "went to witch school before she wrote the books" and that some of the spells in the novels are "real spells" because they appear in Latin, adding that "witches tell us they’re real spells". He also asserted that a woman in Spain had burned down her house while attempting one of the spells. Trent Horn, an American Catholic apologist, questioned these assertions, stating that he was "having a really hard time buying the evidence Father Ripperger is putting forward here," noting in particular that there is no evidence Rowling attended a witch school.[12]

quote:

In 2019, Ripperger stated that "it is a mortal sin for a woman to work outside the home without a sufficient reason," citing the Manuale Theologiae Moralis[14]

quote:

In January 2021, Ripperger received criticism after a report circulated that he had shared a “Prayer of Command” urging Jesus to "banish evil spirits" in an effort to "Stop the Steal," prompting concerns about reactionary political rhetoric and the influence of nationalistic currents within some Catholic communities, heightened due to January 6th.

quote:

Mike Lewis of Where Peter Is reported that Ripperger stated that "bipolar is actually a form of obsession, demonic obsession by the time it gets to the point where it’s diagnosable". Lewis characterized this as implying that bipolar disorder is caused by demonic activity, as well as Ripperger discouraging "individuals from seeking appropriate medical treatment".[18]

quote:

In contrast with the positions articulated by Pope Pius XII in Humani Generis (1950),[20] Pope John Paul II to Pontifical Academy of Sciences,[21] Pope Benedict XVI,[22] and Pope Francis—each of whom affirmed that evolutionary theory is compatible with Catholic teaching and may point to a divine creator[23]—Ripperger rejects biological evolution. He has stated: "I have never had any conviction in relationship to evolution as a viable thing from the very beginning, from the first time I heard it in — I think it was in either 8th or 9th grade when I heard the proposition. I’m just like, that’s just absurd."

dude is as wacky if not more so than the people in this thread arguing about what religion exorcises demons the best

I’ll leave you with this:

- When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, who love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on street corners so that others may see them. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you pray, go to your inner room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will repay you.

Thank you for the confirmation. Now we know why you sound like an idiot. It is not an act.

Read the thread title. Keyword: Exorcist
quote:

ex·or·cist
/'ek?sôr?s?st,'eks?r?s?st/
noun
noun: exorcist; plural noun: exorcists
a person who expels or attempts to expel a supposed evil spirit from a person or place.

The subject of the thread is quite literally demons and evil spirits. Reading comprehension not your strong suit?

There is one true Church and that is The Holy Catholic Church. Yall baws going to these non denominational Joel Osteen six flags over Jesus churches laser light show concert churches are worshiping self improvement and self worth. Jesus didnt die on the cross so you could learn how to get wealthy. Better start repenting then sins.

Bashing the Catholic Church should be beneath most Christians but this is just as bad. There are plenty of people going to non dom churches that are true followers of Jesus and I don't go to a non denominational church. Arguing about the specifics of each denomination is a waste of time. Do you you have a relationship with Jesus? If the answer is yes then I don't care where you attend on Sunday morning.

I don't think he is bad as an interviewer but he has room to grow. An earlier post is correct in that he let people tell their story and I do like that about him. You can tell when he gets out of his comfort zone or isnt able to move things along very well. His recent success is a bit sudden and maybe he adapts as he tries new topics

Mormonism is nothing more than a con job .. much like professional “exorcists.” Mormonism is more legit imo.
