Just got my first quote from Dr Glass and was not expecting the price to be 450.00 dollars to replace window
its a single pane of glass that is 46in x 46in.
I was thinking it would be 200.00 dollars but 450.00 dollars is WTF

So they have drive out to your house, measure the window, go back to their shop, cut the glass, then drive back to your house and install the glass for $200???

You probably got a minimum charge price from the company you called. I'm not in the BR market, but our minimum charge is $400.
Honestly, it's a pretty cheap and easy DIY job if it truly is monolithic (single pane). It's rare you ever encounter a complicated monolithic window in a house.

For a single pane window (basement) I just went to our local True Value and they cut me the piece (slightly smaller), with self-glazing material for about $80.

Replacing a single pane isn't all that hard to do yourself.
ETA: Although I've never done it on a pane that large before.

the quote says:
1 46" X 46" G00232 - Size D - Clear Laminated Glass
If you can install from the inside, then its above the tub which he could stand in. If he needed to stand outside, then a latter would be required
