1) wear flashy jewelry
2) splash around
3) swim at dusk
4) try to heal a bloody cut with the salt water

Anything else

Go fishing in the surf, and use a stringer tied to your belt loops, to put your fish on. You want those fish on that stringer, dangling right next to your legs, while in the water

I mean, that is all true.

You think Steve Irwin would want us to hate Stingrays?

A few years back a guy did something similar around Matanzas Inlet in Florida. He was wading in the water fishing with the shrimp he was using for bait in his pants pocket. A shark came along and bit him. It wasn't deadly but I bet it got his attention

Jesus Christ. People, including myself when fishing, don’t understand how many sharks there are swimming around you. Those things are everywhere.

You are swimming with a 1000x as many sharks every time you get on that highway or commute.

Also, go ahead and bleed them out when you put them on the stringer. Makes cleaning them a lot easier if you make it back from the water.

Shark week has jumped the shark. The made up stuff and the jackass crew has taken the actual good stuff out of the week. We can only watch air jaws so many times too.

The older I get, the more apparent swimming pools are for swimming.

The Jackass stuff last night wasn't great, but honestly, the stuff before that was pretty good.

I'm hoping The Rock gets eaten by a shark.

Was watching some show yesterday with my 5 year old about sharks hitting seal decoys in Mossel Bay South Africa. Such good footage but for some reason they had fake reporters, play by play, and replays in some kind of cringey as frick competition.

So cheesey. Guess they are running out of new shite and trying to recycle with crap. Terrible show.

I think the best shark week in a while was the season two immediately after the fake megalodon season. Basically nobody watched any of that fake crap, then they tried to show nothing but great whites breaching.

It wasn’t until 2 seasons later that they finally started showing programs featuring different sharks, highlighting hammerheads, tigers, and my favorite was the mako.

I did watch an episode last night where a guy was in a plexiglass box floating in the water and a big arse great white went at him and tried to kill him. It was really cool.

Rather take my chances in the ocean with the sharks than on land with pits roaming around.

Kept a bait bag full of shrimp tied to my belt loop. Even fished at night in chest high water. Shark week wasn't on TV yet. I don't recommend this now.
