In the Old Testament of the Bible (Deuteronomy 22:23-27), one of the Hebrew laws declared if a city girl was being raped, but she didn't cry out loud enough in protest, it's automatically assumed she consented, so she was to be stoned to death. However, if she gets raped out in the woods with no neighbors in earshot, she lives as it couldn't be proven that she didn't protest the rape.

Yep. I know something else would have developed in its place, but still I’d love to see a world in which none of the abrahamic religions ever came to be.

Ok, raping someone is a monstrous act, but it is something else entirely to cold bloodedly rape a woman that had absolutely nothing to do with the initial act in revenge...in front of 40 people.

The people in the comments are saying that this isn't Sharia law and this is actually forbidden in Sharia law.
