I'm a boomer. I invested through my company. I have money now. Didn't start out with any though.

And finally, Gates, Allen, and Jobs skew the graph for boomers.

Are they boomers?

This chart is a big nothing burger and does more to demonstrate the lack of critical thinking skills among the masses instead of disparity between the generations.
Like I said earlier, it's to divide us and cause problems.

A sliding scale. One group slides right into another. We all blend together.

50% Baby Boomers helped one another before Gen X. 50% Gen X altogether stopped trying.

I’m not sure I know what this means

Need to see the graph for the generation before boomers.

It’s expected that those who are older have more wealth. They have had a full life to accumulate it.

Also we lost a lot of the generation before the boomers due to WWII (hence the reason for the boom)

Not to mention boomers had technological and geopolitical advantages we don’t have… the internet was a great equalizer for the second world

Stock Market has been very good to Boomers. Millennials will benefit greatly with the coming wealth transfer.

All that wealth has to go somewhere when the boomers are gone.

My parents are older Boomers and they are both awesome people. They can't help when they were born and weren't exactly shaping public policy against their children and grandchildren

I'm in the same boat but I disagree that citizens don't own the success or failures of society and government that occur on their watch.

Apparently not RaoulDuke504.

He or his parents must have gotten written out of the will.

My generation is in process of giving the young generation all of their earthly wealth. We can't take it with us when we go.

How is the average Joe responsible for the decisions of what maybe 1000 people in DC made? Maybe they didn't vote for any of them

Sure, my parents bought my childhood home for 50k. That was the going price at the time. They were like 20 when the US ended the gold standard.

Has more wealth? Who would have guessed?
