Not only are they exempt from this, but those citizens will continue to be allowed to shite in the middle of the street if they choose to. No one will be there to pick up the fecal matter, as our government employees will not be reporting for work until further notice. Good luck.

I went in Sept. for the first time in about 10yrs. Based on what I read on this board, I was expecting to see human shite everywhere, I kept telling my wife to watch out and be careful. I did see one pile that was later confirmed as dog shite. That's about it. I did see some people shooting heroin though. Aside from that, great weather, restaurants, scenery. Still one of the world's great cities IMO.

My buddy works at a downtown SF Trader Joes and he has been giving me updates. Crazy stuff. He says when he goes to work he has the street to himself. Shelfs are emptied every day.
