When will be the next convective outlook for the east Alabama/west Georgia area? I think all signs point to early morning for us, but the sun never came out so I'm hopeful that combined with the storms from earlier knocked the system down a bit.

Humid, with that cold wind blowing.

I’m ready for a storm

You're going to be caught in a weird area, timeframe speaking, for the SPC outlook. Your best bet is to watch for any of their ongoing discussions. The next scheduled isn't likely to do you much good.

The front has really picked up speed over the past half hour or so. Going to pack some good winds and possible spin-up tornadoes for North AL, particularly.

New warning north of Birmingham and I wouldn’t be surprised if the cell to its west gets warned.

That's kind of been the cutoff on rotation all afternoon. Let's see how long it holds together.

That storm did the same thing the prior storms did. The rotation broadened the further north it got. NWS just let the warning expire.

Reports so far today. One thing of note is that so far today most of the tornadoes have been short lived. A few of the cells today dropped multiple tornadoes but we haven't seen many (any?) long track destructive storms today.

Will be interesting to see the survey for the storm that developed southwest of Selma, and held together across the state. It had rotation most of the time and a debris signature at least twice. Pretty sure it wasn't on the ground the whole time.

If we see warnings in the line coming through, they probably won't be long-lasting.

So far, the total number of tornadoes has been high, however the strengths, fortunately, have been of the weaker varieties.

It isn't warned, but it does have a TVS, fair rotation, and a hell of a notch on it. It just now picked up a severe ts warning.
