So in Bham I'm fine to go out for the next hour or so? Need to go to the CVS and pick up some waters
I am not someone you should ask for weather advice from. I can tell you what I think but it’s based upon what I’ve seen from the same sources everyone else has access to. I’m no pro.

I think she said this afternoon. I guess if she leaves right now she can avoid the bad stuff but she will be getting to Nola right as they start getting the line.

I’m just outside the PDS boundary by about 10 miles
Looking like high risk area should have been further south a bit

Biggest concern right now would be the eastern portions of the High for open warm sector supercells. There appears to be a prefrontal trough that could be the trigger.

How long do you think it takes to drive from Jackson to New Orleans. The line isn’t going to get to New Orleans until this evening.
I’d be more worried about a tornado crossing I-55 this afternoon. But leaving soon she shouldn’t have any problems.

Prayers in advance to the Tuscaloosa area
Yeah we hate each other in sports but real life hits you very hard sometimes. Hope everyone does well today

Damn.
Is it a little early in the season for this? Sure feels early.

That’s exactly what I told her. I said those little cells pop up all over 55 for these sorts of events. I used to cover Jackson when I lived in BR and there were many afternoons I had to pull off the road or get to a gas station off 55 bc of those little dangerous cells. They’re no joke.

Using the 45% Tornado Probability Legend is basically the equivalent of telling folks to just dig a hole and hide now, hell's coming.
God Bless all you folks, it's gonna be ugly.

It keeps trying, but not quite there yet.

And yes, prayers to everyone in the bullseye. Tornados are the worst.

This is going to be a dud of the highest order for Louisiana but really bad for the Mississippi/Alabama state line
