Why what did the Chicgo Midwest guy do?
For one during Ida (I think) he outright fabricated being stranded and needing help. He was on his livestream begging for someone to come help him, saying he was stuck, that he didn't have headlights, and other shite. People started looking into the video and prertty much tore it apart. He wasn't stranded, his car worked, and so did the headlights (which were actually on during parts of the stream).
When people started questioning him he flipped his shite and went on a blocking spree. There have also been a handful of other instances where he was caught greatly exaggerating stuff.

Nowadays I think he just acts like none of that ever happened. Ignore and block is his approach.

The storm way down at the end of the main line near Maquoketa produced a 73mph gust just a few minutes ago.
Winds out ahead of the storm are near 50mph out of the south.

Update from Iowa Department of Public Safety on the deadly Greenfield tornado. The Iowa State Patrol has confirmed multiple deaths and injuries Tuesday, but it has not released specific numbers. Officials still working to asses and update as information becomes available

I about made a post that wouldn't have made any sense. I misread Scant's post and thought it said one of the "widest" tornadoes. I was going to say how Greenfield may have actually been a bit fortunate because of how narrow it was when it went through the town.
That's a significant tornado, maybe violent, but it wasn't a very wide one at that part of its life. Parts of the path look narrower than your average neighborhood street. It is always surreal to see the seemingly randomness of tornado damage, and see the razor thin difference in complete destruction and just some branches in the yard.
You never want to see loss of life. Hopefully, that count doesn't grow.

That was a violent tornado. Praying for those affected. I never realized how many windmills Iowa had until all this footage from today. It might have been narrow but the winds emanating from it also did major damage.
Someday they’ll invent some rapidly expanding liquid that will be fed into tornado and expands so much it snuffs it out. Wishful thinking.
Horrible news out of Greenfield though.
