The rotating storm is 75 miles from my house. I don't think anything is touching down, but it is coming this way.

Looks like the worst of it may have just gone by me here in McKinney.
It was coming down pretty hard, lots of lightning but not as bad as I thought...didn't even wake up either of my two 4 year olds, piece of cake!

There have been a ton of small spin ups with this storm, some of the chasers were seeing them by the rainfall pattern in the headlights, looking like only a couple have had a little power to them thankfully.

And I'm alive. Tornado sirens were going crazy. I believe there was a touchdown in Centerton.
I imagine there is going to be quite a bit of wind damage tomorrow. Already reports.

Weather alerts on my phone and house alarm have been going off since about 4:30. I guess it's nice to get notified be it sure scares the hell out of you when in a dead sleep.

Not surprising to see some spin ups in the early morning hours in association with the strongest LLJ. DFW could be under the gun again tomorrow and Friday.
