For believing the hype? Guilty. The predictions have never been correct in the last 20 years of living in Dallas. The bad stuff happens with no warning....or a warning that comes out of nowhere 2 hours before an outbreak. The science just isn't there yet. Flipping a coin would be more accurate

Yea no.....flipping a coin would not be more accurate.....but it’s cool, please just keep from spreading your ignorant thoughts. I’d hate for others to be hurt by your failings

Only an idiot can sit there nowadays and claim these models bust each time. The models pointed to a severe outbreak and there is now one occurring. It’s literally IMPOSSIBLE to predict exactly where there will be a tornado or hail storm, or even straight line winds but they almost always are accurate in predicting the regions these events will occur.
Take your head out of your arse.

Predicting earthquakes is probably just as accurate a science.

Define a region. 500 Mile radius?

Made your point.
Please start a thread for further discussion. This thread is about weather and not a discussion about the accuracy of long term models.

Another tornado warned storm. Hopefully it calms down before they arrive here in Little Rock.

Did any chasers make their way into Arkansas tonight?

My point was concerning models indicating wide spread tornadic activity in DFW today. I have lived here for 20 years and never have the predictions come true. The worst storms and tornado outbreaks such as the tornado that hit Dallas a few months ago are never predicted. There is no warning until the tornados actually develop. This tells me the science of predicting these outbreaks is very weak.

I have no idea. I’m sure some did, but I know a lot hate chasing here due to the lay of the land.

Your home must be on ancient Indian burial grounds. Those sites are protected and ward off tornadoes.

So this being fairly accurate 7 days out has be a tad on edge about the wintery mix forecast now.

Update or Arkansas tornado? Horrible timing for those on the road.

What’s your plan here? To just derail a weather thread as much as possible?
We get it

Have there been any tornadoes touch down in Texas yet today?
