There was around 15k combined between the counties that were under the warning without power. Haven’t seen any pictures or videos yet. If I come across any, I’ll post them.

The news reported one on the ground near Arlington.
I wonder if my massive headache is stress or impending weather (dropping barometric pressure) related

Back to the weather —
Really curious to see if the BR area gets straight line winds or if we just get rain and gusty winds to 40mph like the models are indicating. Lost in all of this discussion is the likelihood that we all get sustained winds of 20-30 mph with gusts to 40-50 mph like models seem to be pretty confident about. That’s before the line even gets here. I’d imagine (no expert though) that if that happens and the line packs winds of 30 mph then we could really be in for a whopper of a wind storm. I could be totally wrong with my assumption that the wind in the line would add to the existing winds. Just my uneducated guess.
Correct me if I’m wrong, Duke or rds.

I've been having a twitch in my neck all evening. Weird.

My wife (yes she’s real, 03) denied my sexual advance of sticking my pinky in her arse crack when she bent over earlier. Wonder if that’s because of the pressure dropping.

well, i don't see this turning into a tornado outbreak, the way it looks the shear is only supporting linear progression of supercells and not discrete, and discrete development is where you are most likely to see a tornado outbreak with a few strong tornadoes
not saying this line isn't bad, it's just i don't see us seeing a tornado outbreak, unless something dramatically changes

The main line of storms in east Texas is about to catch up to the line that formed west of Texarkana down to Tyler. They'll probably merge by the time it hits Shreveport

How close are you to Prestonwood?
Not far. Drive 10 minutes east from the Shops at Willow Bend and you'll be practically at my doorstep.

So this being fairly accurate 7 days out has be a tad on edge about the wintery mix forecast now.
The good news is that if ever there is warranted bitching against longterm models, it is justified with winter weather in the south.
