Actually if you look back over the last few months... Almost every storm or low was farther north in Texas... This dipped way farther south than the past ones and it had a chance to be much worse than storms in the last few months... We got lucky in most areas... This could have been much worse..

Area from Houma to New Orleans and SE needs to be on lookout. Also, the tail end of that first batch of storms as it lifts out.

Weather Channel just said tornado warning for Ascension . Same areas

Take cover now! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors or in
a vehicle... move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.

Heavy rainfall may hide this tornado. Do not wait to see or hear the
tornado. Take cover now.



This might be the 3rd time Prarieville and French Settlement was tornado warned today.

Yeah i was looking at that on radar. We will be getting that train effect as it moves a little further east. Just overcast in Houma at the moment but wind is ripping and the bayou has been rising.

Looks like the risk zone for this one is a little farther north into Baton Rouge, Shenandoah, St. George.....but Prarieville is right smack in the middle of it. Again.
