The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a Tornado Warning for: Northwestern Livingston Parish in southeastern Louisiana. South Central East Baton Rouge Parish in southeastern Louisiana. North Central Ascension Parish in southeastern Louisiana.

Until 12:45 PM CST.
At 12:11 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Prairieville, or 8 miles east of Oak Hills Place, moving northeast at 25 mph. Hazard, tornado. Source, radar indicated rotation. Impact: flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile Homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

This dangerous storm will be near. French settlement and Port Vincent around 12:20 PM CST. Denham Springs around 12:30 PM CST. Walker around 12:35 PM CST. Livingston around 12:45 PM CST. Tornado, radar indicated Hail, <.75IN.

Looks like an actual tornado. No spotters yet, but everyone is reporting a loss of power.

Highly likely that it's rain wrapped and obscured by a storm if there's one on the ground.

High Precipitation Super Cells are the normal mode in the deep south. It's another reason why chasing in the deep south is a dangerous pain in the arse.

Add in a shitty road network and lots of very tall trees.....kind of surprised those storm chasers are moving into Baton Rouge now instead of staying in the Florida parishes.

These three might catch it if they stick around Walker. I think it's headed in that direction near I-12:
