Just south of Abita and yes the lightening and wind just knocked on the door about 2:20.

I’m off 1088 in Quail Creek. This is the most intense lightning I’ve seen in a while. A pretty bad cell just moved over about 10 min ago with strong winds. Picking up again as I type this.

Not far from you. Definitely some hail and heavy winds. I had to be up at this time anyway.

Rotation is messy but certainly seeing it capable of a spin up tornado without much notice. It’s now moving east of the highly populated areas in Covington/Mandeville. Heads up Lacombe and eventually Slidell. #lawx
