5" hail...

Glad I wasnt outside when that dropped. Could that kill livestock? If not, Im sure it would hurt like hell.

Apparently, it killed an emu at the zoo and injured another animal

The dumb emu was probably standing out in it trying to catch the rocks falling from the sky with its mouth.

Big RFD burst on that storm has kicked up dust and light debris along its leading edge and it is being picked up by radar on CC.

In the past few weeks I’ve gotten addicted to watching YouTube live storm coverage.

We were in that tornado warning, with the circulation indicated just a few miles east of us. Golf ball size hail this time around. I was pulling up the driveway right as the hail started getting bigger than pea size

That storm near Cleburne right now is warned for softballs and has a Destructive Thunderstorm tag on it. The hail core went almost directly over the radar.

ETA: and probably has a tornado with it now

I know it isn't necessarily putting stuff on the ground but this is the most tornadic messy wad of storms I've seen in a long, long time

Absolutely nothing about the reflectively presentation suggests it should be anything but heavy rain

Yea that one is on a beeline for either my house or my farm depending on how it ends up

Nothing ahead of it to weaken it either. Untapped energy in this area

About 25 years ago we had a storm come through and pick up one of our grain bins (I don't remember how many bushels it was but it was pretty damn big) and set it back down on its side. Ripped the top off another one. It did some damage to one of our shop doors too where it peeled it up like a banana peel from the bottom to top inside to out

I remember the weather service insisted it was straight line winds but there ain't no damn way. I'm sure it wasn't a large tornado but something was going on there, I figure with current radar tech they might've picked up the tornado

Anyways, that's about all I got. Hopefully none of your stuff gets rearranged

Looks like the more severe stuff is gonna skirt below us, thankfully. Had a rough round last night with some wind damage and flash flooding in the area.
