I wasn't really aware of a forecasted severe weather threat in Tennsippibama for this afternoon but I saw storms forecasted this morning and they just announced they are letying the schools out early (2 pm) so the buses have time to get off their routes before storms start around 5

SPC added a small moderate risk that includes the DFW area. Looks like it’s a hail driven moderate risk.

The Dallas area is in a hail driven Moderate risk today. Storms already rolling.

Are these storms coming through the delta right now all it is or will more build up later? Nothing on radar behind it

Should be another round based on high res models. The tornado watches go until 10:00 PM tonight.

5" hail...

Glad I wasnt outside when that dropped. Could that kill livestock? If not, Im sure it would hurt like hell.
