Now a lot of good dudes in that area. Hopefully it’s nothing too major.

Hailing here at the airport went 2 rounds, 30 minutes total. Stopped, now hailing for a third time. We are still stuck on the runway. This is insane.

They'll have a window to get you out probably within the next ten minutes or so.

The Norman cell seems to be getting a hook again on reflectivity but there isn’t a ton of rotation there at the moment.

I went thru the May 3, 1999 tornado that was scary. Total and utter destruction. Dirt was even pulled up. Max Wind Speed: 301 MPH

May 3, 1999 F5 - This 36,000 lb freight car was crumpled and thrown 3/4 a mile.... Just one of many impressive feats documented within the damage path. This car was also obliterated and compacted before impacting at high speed. This truck was wrapped around a pole.

If I had my way, and we had unlimited funds, we'd have a fleet of DOWs to dispatch for every setup.

They had a DOW positioned perfectly for that '99 Moore storm. The dream would be to have one on every major storm, and maybe even include radar data in the survey/rating.

Hail stopped, finally. Damn that was not fun. Still on the runway, waiting the lightning to move away. Was headed to JAN, (Jafrica), not looking good. May have to send the wife back home.

If there is a tor with it, it has fricked right off from the storm and won't last long. It'll have to start over again.

That's not supposed to happen.
