Friday update: ALL MODES OF SEVERE WEATHER NOW APPEARS LIKELY FOR SELA

Pay close attention to the weather late tomorrow morning. If a warning is issued, don’t hesitate to get to a safe place of your home. Tornadoes happen very fast.

SELA has been upgraded to an enhanced risk of severe weather with damaging wind and large hail being the primary threats but a tornado or two can not be ruled out.

Current indications are pointing at late Saturday morning for the worst. This is still unfolding but each new run looks worse for the SELA area.

Pay attention, folks!

I see they upped the rain totals as well. Looks like a soggy day for many of the events going on in Baton Rouge on Saturday

Cool. We can really use a good hail storm.

Yeah, insurance premiums have been a bit too stagnant for my liking.

Thanks for the heads up. Good to know the OT has my back since Mother Nature is throwing such a hissy fit these days.

SPC Convective Outlook for Saturday.

Still a lot of uncertainty with this setup. Models are at different places with it.

This sucks major balls for the Fatboy 5k participants.

One of the best road races in Baton Rouge is going to be a fricking MESS.

It will be fun setting up the fireworks for French Quarter Fest. I was hoping the forecast would lighten up.

Sounds like it was going to be a mess anyway.
