Study out of Israel

quote:

The research team looked at vitamin D levels for more than 250 patients hospitalized at the Galilee Medical Center with a positive COVID-19 test between April 2020 and February 2021. The vitamin D levels were based on testing conducted before the hospitalization as part of routine bloodwork or for vitamin D deficiency, ranging from 14 to 730 days before the positive PCR test.

Patients with a vitamin D deficiency were 14 times more likely to have a severe or critical case of COVID-19. What's more, the mortality rate for those with insufficient vitamin D levels was 25.6%, compared with 2.3% among those with adequate levels.

The differences still applied after researchers controlled for the patients' age, gender, and history of chronic diseases.

FOURTEEN times less likely.

We’ve been saying this for 2 years.

I’ve never heard Biden, LaToya, or any of the other team of retards say anything about Vitamin D. Just that the only thing we can do is get vaccinated.

My husband works outdoors. He kept telling me that his vitamin d was fine.

Recent annual bloodwork showed his was less than 30 and the prevention specialist that I see likes mine above 70 even though 30 is bottom of “normal”.

Needless to say my husband was shocked when his wasn’t even in range. He now takes vitamin d daily.

This has been known for a while now it seems — is suggest everyone get their vitamin d level checked.

This has been known for a long time...people that are diabetic, obese, have heart disease and/or are Vitamin D deficient are the ones that suffered the worst of COVID. I have a friend with a relative who works for Harris County here in Houston...this person compiled the COVID patient data and shared this info with us early on...

There is a reason that cold and flu season is in the winter when there is less direct sunlight. Listened to a Darkhorse podcast recently where the guest suggest an 80 to 100 percent reduction in COVID 19 cases with proper Vitamin D supplementation.

I’d kindly suggest you get your levels tested. My husband works anywhere from 6-8 hours a day and just assumed his levels were fine.

They were less than optimal in fact below the lower end of acceptable.

Ask your doc!

It has been screamed from the roof tops. It is not a cool as wearing a mask or getting an RNA vaccine though.

This was widely known in the first months of the pandemic. Hardly news.

will we ever go a day without someone posting "breaking covid news" that has been known for months/years.

If you haven't been keeping up with this kind of stuff, don't try to be the guy breaking news

This is not a pandemic of the unvaccinated. Unfortunately, it is a pandemic of the elderly and unhealthy.

The older you get, the less Vit D you make from sun exposure.
