The only thing that gives the Gorilla a chance is it’s quickness and athleticism. If it could somehow get the Grizzly’s back and get a bite to the neck it may win.

they have actually done this type of thing before. During the gold rush they used to get animals from all over and put them in a big pit and let them fight to the death. Grizzly destroyed all including tigers, silverbacks, lions and even polar bears.

Is it a 1 on 1 fight? Then grizzly wins.
Grizzlies are usually solitary animals but gorillas are usually part of a troop. A handful of gorillas would win ganging up on a grizzly.

Grizzly would disembowl a gorilla with one slash.
A gorilla would probably handle a black or panda bear. But would get worked by either grizzly or polar bear.
