for the record, Bruce Springsteen's Santa Clause is coming to town is the worst Christmas song followed ever so closely by the Beach Boys' Little Saint Nick. I had never heard the shoes one, which was my wife's pick, and while it may be worse than both of mine combined, it's not mainstream enough, IMO. I am talking about the songs you hear 3/4 times a day if you're out and about in December.

I am, but I also think that the song would be equally creepy if the male and female parts were swapped. Just not really a fan of people being held against their will and I think it's a weird thing to have written a song about.

She wasn't being held against her will. The song is about actual courtship. The woman obviously wants to stay, but doesn't want the man to think that she is easy.
