ok, so in your opinion, does he catch him?

No. If betting, my $$$ would be on Lee but that is maybe one of the few humans that I would bet on agaisnt a Mike Tyson in his prime.

I'm saying Tyson also had great punching mechanics to go with his natural power, dummy.
no doubt. I just think the first time Tyson swings and misses, lee would have a foot embedded in his skull.
One things for fricking sure, Tyson's fists aren't close to lee's feet

Bruce was almost impossibly fast and amazingly strong for his size. He wouldn't have the 1hit knockout punch Tyson had but he doesn't need it. Lee had a size/strength combo that was unparalleled.

It's one thing to have skills, it's another to use them in a real life fight. And I've yet to see Lee use them in a real life fight

Exactly. There are very few people I would say could beat Tyson in a fight like this. Bruce Lee is one.

I give you a choice to get punched in the face by Mike Tyson or Bruce Lee. Who are you taking?

Like Tyson didn't have good punching mechanics? lawlz?

First, I never said Lee was STRONGER than Tyson. Just strong enough to take him down in a no holds barred fight. See below.

Second, in a fight with no rules, we aren't just talking punching. We are talking kicking and anything else.

Lee's sidekick was ridiculously powerful. You can find, online, where he would bend 200 pound punching bags in half knocking them to the roof with those kicks.

really? I used to think that too. You don't think today's mma guys would destroy him? Seems like that's most experts opinion. Of course, they're usually asking an mma guy, lol

He won competitive tournaments in China.

This is the only video I could find.

Well considering the dude's dead... have fun trying to find that

Supposedly Lee had to do a lot of fighting in his own Chinese community because he caught a lot of shite about the movies. They considered it a violation of the rules to bring Kung Fu to the whities.

It's not one of those internet meme jokes but I have heard for years that Chuck Norris actually beat Lee once on a movie set when they sparred?

Lee also came back and beat him the next time or something?

Just always had heard that even before the Chuck memes started.

I guess by proxy then that means CN can also beat Tyson.

Have you ever seen Lee embedd his foot in someone's skull in an actual fight? And don't say you " heard" he did this or that. Have you ever actually seen him do that to someone?

One thing about Tyson is that he could absorb some punishment. Lee would have to catch him pretty well flush on a pressure point to even phase Tyson with the size mismatch. I doubt Lee could hit Tyson 10 times straight in the face and back him off.

Tyson would destroy Lee in a no holds bar fight. No way could a 130lb Lee hit Tyson hard enough to hurt him.

This all day. Tyson in his prime was an animal and if it came down to a real fight the Lee is going down.

This statement shows how little about Bruce Lee you know.

Yet, the closest thing to visual evidence that anyone can come up with that Bruce Lee was anywhere near the bad arse everyone claims are a bunch of pictures of him exercising.

Methinks the Bruce Lee experts in this thread don't really know shite about him either.

"But someone said he beat up three bouncers!!"

If you think Lee would have to catch Tyson 10 times, you are underestimating his strength.

Today's top MMA guys would destroy both Tyson and Bruce Lee. Reason? They didn't know wrestling.

I think this is a myth actually. Watch a young Tyson. He was so fast that he hardly actually got it with a clean punch or enough in a row to phase him. When he got older and/or out of shape he wasn't as fast and that's why Buster Douglas beat him.
