Wife and I have been separated for a few months.

Found out tonight she's going on her first date with a new man since we separated.

Other than alcohol and finding new strange, how have ya'll dealt with that?

It hurts like a motherf&%ker

I’d advise Ambien, going to sleep, and seeking a therapist.

Trust me she had that man for awhile now. Let her go and move on my man. Don't let her bring you down. Trust me it can be kinda fun watching her train wreck after the divorce. If you have kids take care of them first then take care of yourself next. Oh yeah hit some strange and you will be ok. Good luck

Are separated with a chance of getting back together or are you separated awaiting for your divorce to become final?

A date after being separated for only a few months? Dude, move on. She obviously stopped loving you long ago is she’s seeing someone already. Go find some young poon and spray her guts until you forget the bitch’s name.

Sorry about it all, baw. I hope you’re doing ok.

No kids, thank god.

I thought so, but I guess it's not anymore.

I know it would be a clean(ish) break and this has been coming for a while, but it still sucks. I really have been wanting to make this marriage work, but nothing I've done has been enough. I've tried to make the best of the separation, but I just don't see how this goes well for me in the short term.

I can look forward to maybe things being better in the future, but right now is an absolute b&%#h.

So she has already moved on why are you upset obviously she is not? Do something you couldn't do while you were married. Go see some titty's or go have a beer with some old friends etc.

I would put the bottle down and go to bed. Never been though it but if you were good to her and tried to make it work, you should sleep well at night.

She will learn very quick that the grass isn’t greener and will be begging to come back. At that time you should tell her to pound sand because you have moved on in life.

Best of luck.

Did that last night. This was never something I was prohibited from doing.

I would, but the titty bar selection in Zamunda leaves much to be desired.

I've never been through a separation or divorce and pray I never will, but if I was in your shoes I'd put that woman out of my mind as quickly as possible.

Any advice on how to do this other than the tried and true methods of booze and strange?

My ex did the same. She saw greener pastures and I went on with my life and my kids. Twelve years of marriage I felt I wasted some good years. Hit the gym and move on. Plenty of dating sites and places to go to meet ladies. Honestly enjoy YOURSELF time there is plenty of time for another relationship when you want that. BTW how old are you? If you don't mind me asking

late 20's.

Like I said, I know things should get better and I've got a lot in front of me and all that jazz, but it still sucks in the here and now. We haven't even told our families about being separated yet.

I'm just looking for healthier coping methods than repressed rage, alcoholism, and failed attempts at picking up women in bars.

Don't do this.

Enjoy your life and love your kids.
