I have a small Yeti cooler (I didn't buy it, gift from work). I have dry ice in it and it is swelling like a balloon. Should I vent it slightly to keep from damaging it, or is it OK?

I've never met someone who actually bought one of these. It's amazing.

Why you not letting your dry ice sublimate?

Because of this board, i do look for yeti stickers/Coolers on/in back of trucks. And one day i hit the jackpot, guy had 3 Yeti coolers in back of his truck and 4 Stickers on the Window.

I wasn't sure if he was a baller or trashy?

You aren’t supposed to latch the lid. Loosely shut it. You have a substance turning from a solid to a gas, it has to escape

If you have a Yeti cooler, why would you need dry ice?
I thought Yeti coolers could keep something cold, with ice, for a week, w/o thawing?

Unless OP is a complete and total moron, a serious answer was not necessary, even though the thread title includes the words "serious question".
