Serious Question - Alcohol Transportation

We've been on vacation in Destin for the week and we leave tomorrow. I have a half bottle of Patron and around 3/4 of a bottle of fairly expensive scotch that I would rather not just throw away. I know I'm a huge pussy for not downing both bottles right now but I'm in a cold beer mood this morning and I don't typically do liquor after beer. Other than shipping them is there a I legal way I can transport these opened bottles of alcohol back to Louisiana?

Out of reach from the driver.

In your liver, as a passenger.

Put them in your bag with your clothes. If they aren’t out in your car you should be ok. Police aren’t normally going to search your car that thoroughly if they pull you over. And if they do catch you with alcohol, they normally just make you pour it out

You've been at the beach for a week and you're still this uptight?? Don't be a pussy.

Jeez Louise dude just throw them in your suitcase/trunk. You planning on getting extensively searched by state troopers for some reason? Just don’t put them in your cup holders.

Yes I drove here. My private jet had yearly maintenance scheduled this week lol

Is this the first time youve been out of state?
You know they will check your passport at the LA border right? Hope you have one.

If you have it in the cup holder that might be a problem but if its packed in a box with the rest of the stuff theres not going to be an issue. You are way too paranoid or underage.

Open containers in a vehicle are illegal regardless of the location.
Yeah, I'm a cheap bastard for not wanting to waste perfectly good alcohol.....frick me, right?

Unbelievable, even for the OT. Please don't breed.

I would not take the chance. I’m sure you can find another bottle of Dewers when you get home.

Put the bottles on the roof of your car.
