Those are societal norms, not gender norms.
BTW, gender is not ASSIGNED at birth. It is merely RECOGNIZED according to the genitalia of the newborn.
I have a penis, therefore, I was correctly recognized as a male at birth.
Anyone who states opinions other than that is stating just that: an opinion. There is NO scientific basis to saying there are more than two genders. We are born male and female, with extremely rare cases of people born with two sets of genitalia or no distinct set of either.
People who claim to be otherwise are mentally disturbed and are looking for attention of any kind.

If you are born with a penis and testicles you are a male, and if you are born with a vagina and ovaries than you are female. It is not a hard concept if you believe that there are more than 2 genders or you are a different gender than you were born than you suffer from gender dysphoria a mental disorder and should seek help.

I'm gay. I'm a guy who likes other guys, outside of that I'm no different than many posters here.
I don't have anything in common with transgender people and I really don't like that bc I'm gay I'm associated with it.

Agreed. I feel bad for them. But that doesn't mean I have to take up a political crusade for them just because I'm gay.

I really don't get the end game with them at all.
A previous poster used the anorexia comparison, which I think is spot on. It's an illness. We need to stop with the all the hand-wringing over possibly hurting their feelings and help them get the help they need.
I feel bad for them, because it has to be emotional torture to wake up every day confused about what you are. Feeling bad for them doesn't mean I should go along with their delusions though.
