It still haunts me just watching it on television. Being there would get me more emotional than I would have wanted to be on vacation. I can't imagine the people who were actually there and living with that memory. And that is obviously all secondary to those who actually went through that literal hell.

I go to WTC every day to catch the PATH. However, I still can't bring myself to go to the museum.

Have seen this video as well.

If you didn't know what it was you would miss it. It's one of the closest footage to ground zero from a professional. He added a YouTube bubble saying what the faint little beeping was.

So eerie.

I'm sure the museum is a great tribute and is amazing. But I'll never go. I can do things like the Holocaust Museum. It was so long ago before I was born, I can't really fully wrap my mind around it. And still it is hard to see the terror those people were put through. With 9/11, I fully remember the events and know the impact it had at that time. I remember watching the people falling on the news live as it was happening. I just don't think I can handle it. I'm not good with that stuff. I remember going to the OKC bombing site a year or so after it happened when it was just a fence around it with flowers and letters plastered everywhere. It was just unbelievably sad. That kind of stuff just cuts pretty deep for me I guess.

I think everyone should see it. My wife was asking why I watch it. It's our duty to see it and feel a minute, tiny little bit of what they did. Even that 1/1,000,000 of a fraction of their torment brings tears to my eyes and nauseates me. But it confirms for me and whoever watches it the horrors that went on that day. The media suppression is to allow "healing". frick healing. Ten years from now they'll be saying it never happened and it's all CGI. Just like holocaust deniers. I think it should be a old festering wound we pick at to remind why we cannot give an inch to these motherfrickers. Why we need to handle them in the manner they deserve. frick appeasement.

I recall seeing an HBO documentary not too long after 9/11. It followed some firefighters organizing on the ground floor of the WTC. I can still hear the sound of those bodies hitting the ceiling of the area. Continuous sounds. Surreal, horrible.

I've always thought many of them were trying to figure a way to figure a way to scale down the exterior of the buildings rather than jump.

Some did. Some just made their peace and jumped. I remember it being very hard and unsettling= listening to some of the 911 audio recordings.

It was. I heard a story earlier this week about a chef who was up there that morning. He worked nights but went in early that day to prep for something.
