You ask the cop if you're being detained. If he says yes you ask for what. If he says no you ask if you are free to go.
and if the cop never said what they were being detained for?

One question, what law were these kids breaking?
The story conveniently leaves that part out. No one knows.
That is the thing about all these videos, they don't tell the whole story.

You are a boot licking, race baiting piece of shite. You and LSUTangerine should tie yourselves together and jump off a bridge.

LEO need a reasonable suspicion that a crime took place in order to stop ANYONE. Further they need probable cause that a crime took place to arrest anyone.
If you think this was justified, you need to explain what crimes took place.

Did the identity of the OP not tip you off as to the fact that he was going to be criticizing the black girls and defending the cops in this thread?
Of course, but I often wonder where people like the OP get this stuff. Actively searching for articles that piss you off seems psychopathic.

They all need to wear body cameras and be held accountable for this shite.
This excessive use of force is insane. It's actually always been like this. People have said it for years, but the average Joe, wouldn't believe it because he never saw it. Now we see it all the time, from all over, and now those stories you heard for decades start to sound more believable.
I've seen and experienced some shite before. I have seen a sixteen year old choked until every blood vessel in his eyes popped and his eyes turned red before the cop let him go. What did the kid do? The cop saw him swallow a pill. The officer wanted the evidence and decided to choke him for it.

No other charges being brought against her help paint the picture quite a bit.

This is probably true, but it's not like this was found in today's NYT. It's from something called the Free Thought Project which appears to be a blog dedicated to:
It is the mission of the Free Thought Project to foster the creation and expansion of liberty minded solutions to modern day tyrannical oppression. We feel that the internet has given way to a revolution of consciousness by providing for the massive and instantaneous exchange of information across the globe.

"Elude", brah.
And, to be quite frank, I don't know if I can necessarily blame a teen for trying to get away from a guy who is trying to body slam and choke them.

teenage kids being stopped while riding bikes? She didn't run, she shifted and was tossed. All that for riding bikes. I mean I know you are KKK-lite but still. C'mon man.

Exactly , most cops ( I know they arebad ones ) wouldn't use excessive force if they didn't have too , and if they didn't do anything when someone being detained tried to leave then everyone would pull that shite .....
The cops did nothing wrong looking at that video ...

You can't go riding your bike all over private property. These kids deserved a beating.

Exactly.
(though to be fair had it been four wheeler riders, I would have supported the cops. It's getting out of hand how many people are riding 4-wheelers in the city against one way traffic at high speed now.

They seriously don't give a shite about your bike. My vehicle was ransacked along with 4-5 others in the neighborhood one night. Had a laptop stolen so I called the police. They came by, swabbed for DNA in a few places, and told me I could expect a call from a detective within the next 2-3 days. I called a week later asking for the police report for insurance purposes and I guess they panicked because I was still interested so a detective called me 5 minutes after I hung up. Haven't heard from them again and it has been over a month.
The put that shite in the system to check pawn shops and what not and then stored it in the "IDGAF" bin. If it comes up, they'll act like heroes, but they're too busy writing speeding tickets to care about actual crimes like burglary.
My wife was driving on the interstate around perkins road going to lunch. Some a-hole throws something out of his window and it shatters the backseat passenger side window. Luckily, our son wasn't in there, as that is where all the glass went. Well my wife calls the cops. They show up, take a report. My wife gave them the make model, and licence plate #. The cop runs it, and shows my wife the drivers licence picture of the owner of the car and my wife recognized him as the guy. Cop says "expect a call in xxx days". It's been over a month and nothing.
BRPD is fairly worthless. Their job is to write tickets...that's about it. Had a friend have his car broken into a few years back and stuff stolen. My buddy, using the internet, found out who it was and tracked down where the guy lived via social media posts from the perp, etc... and gave all that shite to the cops. Nothing happened.
And again, it was BRPD.
ETA: And FWIW, i'm not part of the "F the police" crowd. I believe, by and large, they are greatly underappreciated for what they do, and deserve much more respect than they get. But BRPD consistently ignores their duties as investigators or whatever. EBR Sheriff's Dept is light years above BRPD.
