It’s a waste of good bud. I’ve got bad teenage memories of a sloppy blunt full of ditch weed being passed around in a vehicle. To this day I can’t stand them.

JK would talk about the topic and Gravy would go on emotional tirades that have nothing to do with the discussion. It's a tactic that's used with great success by black debate teams across the country.

Avoid the subject and talk about racism.

Nobody’s getting arrested for weed anymore.

The talking point should now be on full legalization & dismantling the for profit prison system.

This. Unless you're hauling around pounds of it, you're not getting arrested for weed. At worst you're getting a ticket that will never be prosecuted.

That has nothing to do with specifically black people. That's how every democrat debates. It can also be explained at not knowing what the frick you are talking about and diverting the conversation to feels and racism. You can't debate when you don't have a position. Ask any democrat now what it is they hang their hat on. It's nothing specifically rooted in an actual position. Then they get louder and more emotional as they go. It's pathetic really.

I hate these stats.

Black people are 4 times as likely to be pot heads.

You can’t use the entire population as your metric.

Not all white people smoke pot. So there is zero chance for some white people to ever be arrested for pot.

Guess it never occurred to him why that might be so other than “racism”.

Smokable weed smells like shite. And that's a slam on shite.

Heady entrepreneurs have come up with far less trashy ways to consume thc products.

I have multiple clients who were either arrested solely for marijuana possession, or were arrested for having a legally owned and possessed firearm while also in possession of marijuana. Now, I'm by no means trying to convey that the EBRPP is overflowing with people arrested for marijuana possession, but those arrests are absolutely still happening.

You're an idiot if you're carrying around a firearm with more than 14 grams of weed. That is such an easy charge to avoid.

But none of those guys will see the inside of a prison unless their criminal history is so shitty the judges can't ignore it.

If you want to see the perfect example of this, go watch the Munk Debate with Michael Eric Dyson, Jordan Peterson, and Stephen Fry. MED just strung a bunch of unrelated words together, called everyone a racist, and called it an argument. That's exactly who fat boy idolizes and emulates. Unfortunately, people far dumber than him think it sounds brilliant and vote for it.

That fat frick is “running” again? And this time for a US senate seat? He got what, 24% of the vote for a LA legislative seat and now thinks he can get a US congress seat?

Mother fricker just wants those donation dinners to pay for his massive food bills

I doubt people with personal use amounts are actually getting arrested unless the cops are investigating other crimes and need them in the system..

No, but they are probably 4x more likely to be blatant and nonchalant with it, smoking a stinky arse blunt right near a cop car while blaring shitty arse rap making windows rumble and wearing clothing gaudily emblazoned with weed leaves.

Now, the businessman right down the street is also a fan of the leaf, but he’s discreetly hitting a vape pen, and later on he’s going to eat half a cookie when he gets home from work.

So let me ask you, who is gonna get popped, and why are they getting popped?

It’s the anti-social behavior more than it is the substance.

Factually incorrect.

So is 4 times as likely to be arrested.

It’s like crime. Black men commit the majority of violent crimes. So when 6% of the population is having constant police interactions for committing crime. The stats are going to looked skewed if you try to use the entire population.

Not all black and white people are criminals.

Just a quick look, Gallup polls put 12% of adults admit to smoking pot.

12% of the entire country. So if accurate 88% of all adults will never be arrested for pot.

“For too long, candidates have used the legalization of marijuana as an empty talking point in order to appeal to progressive voters,” Chambers said in a statement accompanying the release of the ad. “I hope this ad works to not only destigmatize the use of marijuana, but also forces a new conversation that creates the pathway to legalize this beneficial drug, and forgive those who were arrested due to outdated ideology.”

I mean, he's not wrong about this. Legalization should be a bipartisan thing, and I guess to some extent it is as both parties fight to keep it illegal.
