But if you’re out of college and wearing Costas with a suit, it’s time to upgrade.
I’m a Costa guy and I agree with this statement. That style (fishing sunglasses) do not look good with professional clothing.

I second shady Ray's. At first I thought that they felt cheap but I'm still on my first pair 1.5 years later. Pretty happy with them.

I order my ray bans from China and they cost $35 a pair.

My nose piece peeled off. Do they fix that or send you a new pair?

I’m in awe that this is the top post on OT because I was Just asking my wife if she could try to glue the rubber nose piece back on.
Thanks for the heads up.

Sent in my pair for the 3rd time in 10 years. Rubber nose and earpieces were rotting from sweat/sunscreen.
Only charge to me was $5 to ship it to them. They have never actually charged my card for the warranty assessment fee or whatever it is.
Turnaround time always about 2 weeks.
You can call them trash baw glasses. Dont care. Company stands by its product.
I've never owned Maui jims's but i have owned costa, revo, smith optics and ray ban.
Costas can take a beating and the glass lenses are great.

usually a new pair
My dog chewed my wifes. They put on new frame for $30 and replaced 4 of my pairs for free. if the frames are no longer available, they just let you pick another style

Maui Jim doesn’t make glass lenses though. Maui Jims are fashion sunglasses, Costas are fishing sunglasses.

My Maui Jims are fishing glasses. My previous fishing sunglasses were all Costas with the 580G lenses. 2 in Green, one in blue.
These MJ's are equal to or better than

I had to send mine in a few weeks ago because one of the arms broke off. They sent back a new pair; all I paid for was shipping.

got these for my lady and she uses them for fishing all the time as well and they work great for cutting thru the water. She can see all the things I see under the water.
