Why does every new vehicle look like the same shitty crossover SUV? Everything looks like an ugly arse Honda CRV now.

God I've come to loathe all of these crossover SUVs

Yep. And the comparisons are almost always not even close.

That grill is wannabe Lexus. What a pitiful attempt from Chevrolet.
Actually, the grille is from another Chevy, the Camaro SS. So is much of the interior. A K Blazer, it is not, but for what the majority of crossover buyers want, it is spot on...

I was listening to a podcast the other day (one of Matt Farah's) and he was mentioning that much of the car design is done by 1000's of computations by AI. Concept is that you just put in I need a car that is this wide/tall/low with this air resistance and xxx and xxx. And after the program runs a million times or so, the perfect _____ spits out. The issue is that every company is designing this same way and that is why you see every segment of the industry looking more and more alike. Take this badge off of this new thing and it is a Evoke, Jeep, Ford, everything looking more and more alike.

That sucks. To a point I am willing to sacrifice safety, gas mileage and ride for the vehicle not too look like dog shite.

It's not that they look like dog shite (IMO), it's that they are completely lacking in soul or character. I absolutely love automobiles, and I want them to reflect something other than pure practicality.
That said, the attempts at personality are sometimes a complete frickup - take a look at a PT Crusier or the SSR.

Looks terrible.
I'm old enough to remember when the Blazer was the first iteration of the 2 door Tahoe, back it was the "Blazer Silverado."

My dad had one of those. In theory it was a convertible, but you dared not take the top cover off because you'd never get it back on.

We had a Jimmy (I'm looking for a done-up one now) and you are absolutely right. It came on or off maybe twice a year.
Imagine if they actually did this with modern engineering. I would buy the shite out of a convertible truck.

I like them. I just think they are 20k over priced. Almost 50 thousand for the top 2 models
They will have 10k off msrp promotion going so you can get a "good deal".

That's what the Bronco will look like if it ever gets produced again
Would have made it easier for O.J. to blend into the traffic flow unnoticed.
