Had a friend of mine get into a motorcycle accident. Everyone went up to the hospital to see him. His current gf was in the room and a chick he hooked up with. I was there with my current gf and 2 chicks I hooked up with.

It was a whole lot of awkward silence until people started leaving. Buddy said, "that was worse than the wreck" afterwards.

Because you were at a brewery and not a bar or club.

Right there with ya.

Ran into a girl I had casually slept with a few times a year prior while out at a bar with my new girlfriend. She was with her long-time boyfriend from high school (this was at college). She slides up later in the night while my girl is in the bathroom and says "we should go on a double date and then meet up after and frick." That was when I knew just how crazy that chick was and how I made the right decision to not be with her. I took a pass and that was college me. Current me would leave the bar, change my address and phone number.

I ran into an ex who was by then married to a preacher and had a few kids. She called me later that day and said she’d leave her family if I would leave my gf of the time.

That was maybe 17 years ago, and to my knowledge she is still married and doing that wacky preacher wife thing where she speaks in front of the church to promote all of their social events.

My point: women are insane.

What do you do in this situation?

I was in a restaurant with parents and new gf one night and my ex walked in. My new gf told me a few days before about a nurse she was in orientation with and low and behold it was my ex...i didn't tell her i knew her. My ex didn't come up to the table and never saw my new gf to know that they were working together. about 10-15 years later I get a text asking if my ears were burning along with a selfie of both of them at work...they had just figured out they both had dated me. I laughed and said if I have heart issues I am going to BRG and not OLOL.

You can always reach out to the other girl later and say, hey, you looked happy and healthy, glad you are doing well, just I was with someone and so were you and wanted to avoid any awkwardness for either of them

Yes, definitely reach out to the ex privately afterward. No way this could come back to bite you.

Girlfriend, acknowledge and say hello. Hookup, no acknowledgement.

Try for a 3 way for good ole times sake.

But in all honesty, I’d just say hello and call it a day. Assuming you’re all adults now, there should be no real issue here.

It’s far more strange to act like you don’t know her. Give her a smile and a friendly wave hello and move on. No reason you have to have a lengthy conversation.

But…you missed a great opportunity to have wild sex. New gf finds out that was old gf and new gf kicks it in high gear to show you she’s better and you’re hers.

Man I've never been a bar/club guy, even when I was at Bama. Of course I've been in plenty of bars and usually have a good time, but its rarely my idea to go. I'm more inclined to go if there is a good band. I've always preferred house parties/chilling, and breweries. I also love good beer.

And know your S.O. perhaps has made the same post about you and people she "knows" showing up in the same place

Hook ups...tricky SOBs
